URUZGAN, Jan. 10 – Officials say, a large scale enemy offensive that last launched some 20 days ago in Landi Kosi and Soli areas of capital Tarinkot with dozens of ANA, ANP troops backed by invaders airplanes and escorted with tense of tanks, APC and ranger pickups ended today after enemy considered escaping as safe option of ending the offense.
According to details, enemy operated in the said areas to take control of it, but failed after facing befitting response of Mujahideen, killing 87 puppets including 3 key commanders and leaving more than 140 wounded as well as destroying 7 APCs.
It is said that only 5 Mujahideen have been wounded and 7 others embraced martyrdom during the whole operation.
