 GHAZNI, Apr. 28 – As many as 20 puppets have been killed and a further 17 suffered wounds in a daylong fighting in southern Afghanistan.

Early Friday Mujahideen counterattacked the enemy forces in the limits of Ghazni city, the capital of the province with the same name, prompting a deadly fighting that lasted through much of day.

The military convoy was heading for Khogyani district which is has already slipped from the enemy to Mujahideen control

At least 15 enemy soldiers were killed and a further 11 suffered wounds in yesterday’s operation, while 3 of the enemy tanks were destroyed after coming under rocket fires with a further 3 being destroyed in bombings.

An elderly civilian was martyred when the enemy pounded the residential area with heavy weapons.

Later, 4 enemy soldiers were killed and 4 more got injured in Mujahideen’s two separate attacks in Gilan district of the province on Friday.

Late Friday, fighting raged in Ghazni city and Shalgar district of the province after Mujahideen stormed the enemy posts.

Separately, a puppet was killed with another one wounded in Ghazni city on Friday.

Furthermore, Mujahideen seized 3 of the enemy combat posts in Qarabagh district of the province on Friday causing the enemy fatal losses.
