Over 19 killed and wounded as 2 check posts overrun in Ghor, equipment seized

GHOR, Aug. 03 – Amid ongoing annual ‘Omari’ campaign Mujahideen launched coordinated attacks on 2 enemy check posts in Tangi Khasaha area of Pasband district early night on Tuesday.
Attack continued till 4:00 am local time, overrunning both check posts, killing 9 puppets, wounding 10 others and forcing the rest to flee leaving 6 corpses on the battle ground.
A mortar tube, 1 RPG launcher, 1 PKM machine gun, 3 rifles and other war equipment was confiscated from the check posts.
It is said that only 2 Mujahideen were wounded in the operation.
