KANDAHAR, Apr. 18 – Reports arriving from Miyn-e-Sheen district of southern Kandahar province state that, Mujahideen attacked ANA base in Sar Nawi area overnight amid ongoing ‘Omari’ annual campaign. Attacks of heavy and light arms resulting the base was overrun after killing 10 puppets and forcing others to flee while leaving 3 corpses, 1 SPG 9 tube with 9 rounds, 1 mortar tube, 1 heavy machine gun, 2 RPG launchers, 300 rounds of Dshk and a sizable amount of other ammunition. Likewise, 8 puppets were killed after Mujahideen attacked defensive posts of the said base on Sunday night.
