Over 16000 megawatts of power generated this month in the country

In November month of the current year, three power plants have generated over 16,000 megawatts of electricity, according to a statement of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS).

Breshna Power Company has reported that the Naghlu, Surobi, and Mahipar power plants within the power generation sector have collectively produced 16,063 megawatts of electricity in November.

All the electricity generated has been successfully supplied to customers through the networks.

Notably, the total electricity output for the month of May this year was 14,861 megawatts. The recent reactivation of the Mahipar power plant has resulted in an increase of nearly 2,000 megawatts in the overall electricity production capacity.
