The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development initiated 161 development projects in the Alingar district of Laghman province, amounting to approximately 295 million Afghanis.
The inauguration ceremony took place during a meeting presided over by the Acting Minister of the Ministry, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Yunus Akhundzada.
The gathering convened to kick off these projects saw the presence of the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Yunus Akhundzada, his team, the Deputy Governor of the province, Maulvi Akhtar Mohammad, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Mines, Sabri, Chief of Staff of the Army Corps, Qari Anzar Gul, Alingar district’s District Governor, Mawlawi Noorul Hadi, alongside various provincial officials, scholars, elders, and youth from the district.
Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Yunus Akhundzada delivered an insightful address during the meeting, highlighting the Ministry’s dedication to implementing fundamental projects in every village nationwide to ensure their benefits reach the populace, emphasizing the community’s responsibility to safeguard these developmental endeavors.
The projects encompass the construction of rural roads, culverts, retaining walls, and canals. These initiatives are poised to create employment opportunities for hundreds of workers during the project implementation phase and upon their completion, address pertinent challenges faced by the district’s residents in the respective sectors.
