HELMAND, Dec. 17 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Mansouri’, Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on ANA check posts in Kala Sang area, PD2 of capital Lashakargah last night.
Attacks of heavy and light arms resulting in 2 posts overrun after killing 16 puppets and forcing the rest to flee leaving 13 corpses behind on the battle ground.
According to details, 2 ranger pickups and a motorbike destroyed while an APC of arriving reinforcement was also blown apart.
2 PKM machine guns, 2 RPG launchers, 3 AK rifles, 6 Kalashnikovs, 2 pistols and other tools were confiscated during the operation.
