Over 16 killed and wounded, ranger and APC destroyed in Kandahar

KANDAHAR, May. 09 – At least 9 puppets were killed when a hireling ranger pickup was destroyed in a Mujahideen attack in Darwashan area of Khakrez district yesterday.

In another report, enemy troops came under a Mujahideen ambush in Badi Karez area of Shorabak district overnight, killing 7 puppets on the spot.

4 Mujahideen were also wounded and another one martyred in the crossfire.

Moreover, at around 7:00 am local time today, a landmine ripped through an enemy APC in Sangbar area of Maiwand district, killing and wounding all gunmen inside.

In another incident, a hireling ranger pickup was shred into pieces on Herat-Kandahar highway in Kalancheki area of Maiwand district in a  tactical blast midday yesterday, leaving all gunmen killed or hurt inside.

Meanwhile, a hireling patrol came under a Mujahideen attack in Mandozo area of the said district, causing heavy toll to enemy as several ambulances were witnessed transferring the dead and wounded from the incident point.
