Over 14 killed, 6 arrested and tank destroyed as 2 posts overrun in Badghis

BADGHIS, Aug. 16 – At around 10:00 pm local time on Monday Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on enemy positions in the surroundings of Bala Marghab district.
Attack of heavy and light arms lasted till early morning hours, resulting in 2 check posts overrun, 14 puppets killed and 6 arrested as well as a tank destroyed.
During the operation as many as 11 Mujahideen sustained injuries and 5 others embraced martyrdom (Surely to Allah we belong and to Him is the return).
