Over 14 killed, 24 injured as post overrun

NANGARHAR, Apr.20– At least 6 puppets were killed and 4 more were wounded when Mujahideen seized a military post from the enemy in Pachir Wa Agam district, Nangarhar, while Mujahideen captured from the enemy occupation 2 Kalashnikov machine guns, 1 light machine gun and ammo.

In reports from Hisarak district of the province, as many as 12 enemy personnel were wounded in the firefight lasting for hours, whereas it is unclear how many were killed in the operation.

Separately, an intelligence employee was killed in Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar province.

Two policemen were killed and another two were wounded in a surprise attack in Jalalabad city.

In a similar attack, 2 policemen lost their lives and 6 more were wounded when Mujahideen seized control of a check post in Chaprihar district of Nangarhar province.

Mujahideen also took 2 rifles from the enemy.

In the province’s Sorkh Rowd district, 3 enemy soldiers were killed when Mujahideen raided a post the other night.
