Over 125000 tons of cargo transported by railway last week

KABUL, Apr. 01– As many as 125104 metric tons of cargo goods have been transferred through Railway lines of the country during last one week, said Afghanistan Railway Authority (ARA).

Details say, 26910 tons of goods transferred through Torghundi railway, 9634 tons through Aqina railway and 88560 tons through Haritaran railway.

According to a statement 11035 tons of goods mostly dry fruits have been exported through the Afghan Railway to other countries, said ARA adding that the authority is striving to provide better facilities for transfers and traders.
