Over 12 killed as check post overrun in Marjah

HELMAND, Feb. 28 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, Mujahideen conducted assaults on a hireling post in Darab Charrahi area of Marjah district overnight.
Attacks of heavy and light weapons went for a considerable time, overrunning a check post after forcing the enemy to flee leaving 12 corpses behind on the battle ground.
According to details, 1 AK rifle, 3 rifles, 1 sniper gun and several other war tools were consecrated while Mujahideen suffered no casualties.
