 GHAZNI, June 6 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate overran a roadside checkpoint along Ghazni-Paktika highway located in the limits of Shalgar district of Ghazni province, causing the enemy heavy toll last night.

In another report from Ghazni, an officer and a soldier were killed when Mujahideen attacked a post in Maqur district of Ghazni province yesterday night, while the enemy targeted the residential area with heavy weapons but no villager seemed to suffer any losses.

Separately, an Arbaki wounded in a clash died of life-threatening injuries in the said district on Tuesday.

In another attack, Mujahideen killed 1 Arbaki and wounded 2 more in Qarabagh district of the ravine on Wednesday night.

In the province’s Shalgar district, Mujahideen raided the district headquarters and its checkpoint killing 5 policemen and leaving 6 more wounded late yesterday night, while a Mujahid fighter, too, embraced martyrdom in last night operation.

On Wednesday, a roadside bomb blast killed 3 puppets and left 2 more wounded, while a puppet was shot dead and another one got captured in separate attacks.
