Over 11 killed and wounded, 7 vehicles destroyed in Zabul

ZABUL, Oct. 11 – At around 1:00 pm local time today Muajhideen attacked a hireling convoy in between Bazargan area and Qayum Kala area of Shajoy district.
Attacks of heavy and light weapons resulting in 7 reinforcement trucks and a ranger pickup destroyed, leaving 7 police dead with further 4 wounded and the rest were forced to flee.
The coward enemy shelled civilian compounds with mortar rounds, one of which slammed into Baran Aka’s compound in Peroz Killi area, leaving a child and a woman martyred.
