Over 10 killed and wounded, 2 tanks destroyed as post overrun in Farah

FARAH, Jan. 21 – At least 3 police were killed when a hireling post in Deizdi area of Farah city overrun by Mujahideen overnight after forcing the enemy to flee leaving corpses and weapons behind on the battle ground.

Later on, Mujahideen engaged enemy reinforcement troops arriving the scene, destroying a tank by RPG fire and another one by IED blast, killing 3 puppets including security in charge – Gulbahar – and leaving a further 4 seriously wounded.

A Mujahid has also embraced martyrdom in the operation.
