Over 10 killed, 3 APCs destroyed as post overrun in Maruf

KANDAHAR, Aug. 02 – Mujahideen carried out an attack on a boarder police check post in Amandi area of Maruf district last night, amid ongoing Mansouri annual campaign .
According to details, the post was overrun after an intense gunfight that lasted for several hours, killing 10 minions, arresting another and destroying 3 APCs and a ranger pickup.
A PKM machine gun, 3 rifles with 3000 rounds, 15 RPG rounds and other equipment have been recovered while 2 Mujahideen also sustained injuries.
