As per a statement of the ministry of interior, in a series of distinct operations, the counter-narcotics police successfully eradicated poppy crops from 6 Jeribs of land in Takhar, 3 jeribs of land in Nuristan, and 2 jeribs of land in Daikundi province.
Furthermore, the police made significant seizures of illicit substances, confiscating 2 tons and over 10 kilograms of glass from Nangarhar, 3 tons from Farah, 2 tons from Daikundi, and an additional ton from Kapisa province.
Several individuals were also arrested in connection with drug smuggling and selling during these operations.
