PAKTIA, Apr. 29 –  Early Friday after the announcement of the launch of the spring offensives Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate focused their attacks on the enemy throughout Paktia province.

Early Friday, Mujahideen pounded the army corps which was followed by Mujahideen attacks on a military camp, in Gardiz city, the provincial capital of Paktia province, according to Al-Emarah News report which gave no casualty details.

Elsewhere, Mujahideen fighters attacked an enemy posts in the provincial capital of Paktia province on Friday.

In the province’s Zurmat district, Mujahideen pounded an enemy military camp on Friday morning, causing the enemy losses of life and injuries.

Late Friday, Mujahideen launched attacks on an enemy base in Urgun district of this province, damaging the base. It is, however, unclear if anyone was killed or wounded.

Early Friday, 2 of the enemy combat post came under Mujahideen attacks in Mata Khan district of this province.

In the late afternoon hours of Friday, a policeman was wounded as Mujahideen attacked a police post in Patan district of this province.

Shortly after attack on post, 3 policemen were wounded as Mujahideen ambushed the extra forces and engaged them.

Later on Friday, a number of the enemy soldiers suffered casualties with a vehicle destroyed in Jani Khel district of this province.

Also Friday, a policeman was killed with another one wounded following Mujahideen attacks on enemy posts in Gardiz city, the provincial capital of this province.
