BADAKHSAH, Apr. 28 – As the :operation Masnoori” began, marking the start of spring offensive, there is a sudden surge in Mujahideen attacks and their operations are well underway across the country.

Al-Emarah News said Zibak district fell to Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate after they seized almost all the enemy installations including 25 combat posts, a major military unit, an army base and the headquarters of this district on Friday.

As many as 16 enemy military personnel were killed and several dozens were wounded, while Mujahideen captured from the enemy 21 tanks and military vehicles, 30 Kalashnikov rifles, 4 DShK, heavy vehicle mounted antitank machineguns and various kinds ammo and other military equipment.

Three Mujahideen fighter embraced martyrdom with a further four wounded in the entire operation.

Al-Emarah News added Mujahideen are advancing on Ishkamish district following the takeover of Zibak district.
