    BAGHLAN, Aug. 3 – An officer known as Safar was killed in a targeted attack by Mujahideen in Baghlan-e-Markazi district of northern Baghlan province early Wednesday. Also Wednesday, a roadside bomb blast hit and destroyed an enemy vehicle in Pol-e-Khomri district of this province, leaving two policemen wounded.
