Numerous killed, combat post dismantled in country’s east

LAGHMAN, Mar. 4 – A post belonging to local militia was raided by Mujahideen in Alishang district of eastern Laghman province late yesterday in which 3 Arbakis suffered life-threatening injuries, while the rest managed to flee, according to Al-Emarah News reports.

It did not take Mujahideen long to overrun the post, seizing from the enemy 1 motorbike, 4 boxes filled with rocket rounds, 2 boxes containing PK machine gun’s bullets, 1 solar panel, 1 battery and other military equipment, the reports added.

In another report from Laghman, 3 puppets were killed and another 2 were wounded when the commando’s combat patrol ran into Mujahideen ambush in the provincial capital of Laghman province on Friday. Two armored personnel carriers are said to have been destroyed in the clash.
