LAGHMAN, Mar. 3 – The Islamic Emirate’s fighters took over an enemy base after an offensive aimed at the enemy military installations in Alishang district of Laghman province late Friday morning.
Mujahideen fighters killed all enemy military personnel stationed in base in the ensuing firefight, taking 7 prisoners, while capturing from the enemy a good deal of arms ammo.
Early Thursday, Mujahideen fighters forced back an enemy ground operation aimed at retaking the installation seized by Mujahideen.
An enemy soldier was killed and 4 more sustained life-threatening injuries in the firefight.
