During a ceremony held for purpose of introducedion of new health minister, several members of the Islamic Emirate’s cabinet, Administrative Deputy Prime Minister Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Head of the Department of Affairs Sheikh-ul-Hadith Mawlawii Anwar-ul-Haq Anwar, former Minister of Public Health Dr. Qalandar Ebad, Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Public Health, and representatives from other ministries and agencies were present.

 

Sheikh-ul-Hadith Mawlawi Anwar-ul-Haq Anwar, the head of the affairs department, emphasized the importance of the system of change and compliance. In accordance with the order of the Supreme Commander of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali has been introduced as the new Minister of Public Health.

Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy PM, praised the newly appointed minister as a mujahid, a person of truth, and a patriot, wishing him success in his new role.

 

Former Minister of Public Health, Dr. Qalandar Ibad, acknowledged the significant achievements made in the healthcare sector in the past two years, with efforts to provide health services across the country. He extended his well wishes for the new minister’s success and urged ministry employees to continue their cooperation to address the needs of the citizens in a timely manner.

 

The newly appointed Minister of Public Health, Mr. Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, highlighted the ministry’s vital role in delivering standardized and necessary healthcare services to the citizens.

He called upon all ministry officials and employees to demonstrate complete honesty, integrity, and national commitment in providing healthcare services to the people.

Mr. Jalali also appealed to international institutions, organizations, donors, and working partners in the healthcare field to maintain their ongoing cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health.
