A hospital has been constructed and is now operational in Qalat city, the capital of Zabul, at a total expenditure of 300,000 US dollars. Another report indicates that construction has commenced on the remaining sections of the Zabul provincial hospital.
Authorities have confirmed that a hospital has been erected and is functioning in the Babagak region of Zabul’s capital, with financial backing from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The hospital occupies an area of 2,640 square meters and is anticipated to provide health services to over 250,000 individuals.
Additionally, the Ministry of Public Health has initiated the construction of a new building at the Zabul provincial hospital at an estimated cost of 19 million Afghanis. Upon completion, health provisions in Zabul province are projected to reach a higher standard.
