KABUL, Oct. 27 – According to ministry of foreign affiars of the IEA the new acting head of the Afghanistan Embassy in the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Mawlawi Badruddin Haqqani, formally began his duties on Thursday.

Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesman of the ministry, stated that Mawlawi Badruddin was introduced to the embassy staff during a ceremony and officially started his duties adding that this development is significant step in the country’s relations, aiming to expand political, economic, and overall services for Afghans living in the UAE.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan considers the acceptance of Mr. Badruddin as the Chargé d’Affaires by the United Arab Emirates as an important development in the relations between the two countries, he added.
