New governor of Uruzgan province officially takes charge

URUZGAN, Nov. 14 – The first meeting of the new governor was held in the assembly hall of Uruzgan governor’s office this afternoon.

The new governor of the province, Mullah Mohammad Khan Sahib, was introduced to the district police chiefs, district officials and staff in a ceremony.

During the meeting all the officials shared the problems of the province with the new governor and promised to work together for better service.

The meeting ended with a prayer.
