    The Ministry of Rural Reconstruction and Development (MRRD)  has finished constructing a check dam in the Doshi District of Baghlan Province, at a cost of 4 million Afghanis.

    This dam, measuring 46 meters in length and 8.5 meters in height, has the capability to store 13,000 cubic meters of water.

    The completion of this check dam will help in preserving rainwater harvesting and stabilizing the groundwater levels.
