The National Engineering Brigade, under the guidance of the Ministry of National Defense, has successfully constructed a strategic bridge in Takhar province.

The bridge located in the Jan Taghli area of Chal district served as a vital communication route between Gazergah Noor, Khost, and Farang districts of Baghlan province, as well as Chal district of Takhar province.

Upon requests of local residents, the Ministry of National Defense directed its engineering teams to build B. Johnson-type strategic bridge over the river.

The inauguration ceremony was conducted by Maulvi Nasrullah “Mansour,” the head of the engineering department of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, and Maulvi Amanuddin “Mansour,” the commander of the 217 Umi Corps.

With a fixed weight capacity of 30 tons and a dynamic weight capacity of 50 to 60 tons, this bridge is a significant solution to the transportation challenges faced by the residents of these provinces and regions. It will greatly alleviate the difficulties and improve connectivity for the local communities.
