PAKTIA, Oct. 14 – A first three-day national conference on economic development has been started today at Paktia Universiyty, featuring high-ranking Afghan officials, academic staff, and teachers, say local officials of the province.

Officials added that over 100 articles have been sent, and 56 research articles will be presented in the conference.

Acting Minister of Interior said at the #Afghanistan Economic Development Conference at Paktia University that; as we did not care of our head while we were freeing our country from the invading forces, the same we will not care of our head for the development of our country.

Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, Minister of Mines and Petroleum, at National Conference on Economic Development of Afghanistan in Paktia University highlighted the rapid development of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the last two years, emphasizing the efforts of officials for the well-being and development of the people.

Mr. Delawar added that the officials of the Islamic system do not want any privilege for themselves; But all their efforts are for the people of Afghanistan.

Dr. Lutfullah Khairkhwa, Deputy Minister for Academic Affairs of the Ministry of Higher Education, said at the National Conference on Economic Development of Afghanistan at #Paktia University that; now the time has come for the universities to play their valuable role in the national affairs of the country.

Mr. Khairkhwa also emphasized on benefiting from knowledge along with learning it.
