FARYAB, Oct. 29 – A religious scholar named Mufti Bismillah, the prayer leader of Kaldari village mosque was assassinated and martyred by an unknown individual in Khaibar district on Thursday night.
Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan have arrested a suspect Neamatullah s/o Khairullah along with a motorcycle from limits of the said district in connection with the case.
Details say, the man has pleaded guilty to the charge in the preliminary investigation, while the motive for the killing is unknown at the moment.
