Mujahideen take over town, 2 villages in Badakhshan; 3 post dismantled

BADAKHSHAN, Oct. 31 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate took over a town and a large area with a strategic importance in Raghistan district of northern Badakhshan province amid a purge operation on Saturday, chasing the enemy away.

Later Saturday, the enemy attempts to regain the areas and town were foiled and the enemy was forced to retreat with heavy losses.

On Sunday, Mujahideen seized 3 enemy combat posts and secured 2 villages in the mentioned district, inflicting fatal casualties on the enemy.
