Mujahideen take control over 6 posts in Faryab

FARYAB, Apr. 25 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on Arbakis check posts in Hodak area of Pashtun Kot district overnight.
Attacks of heavy and light arms continued till late night hours, overrunning 4 check posts and a large area, forcing the enemy to flee after taking heavy fatalities.
Meanwhile, Mujahideen also stormed enemy check posts in Bozdanak area of the said district, resulting in 2 check posts were overrun, killing a minion and forcing the rest to flee while a hireling commander – Ahamd s/o Taslah – laid arms along with 4 others.
