PARWAN, Sept. 3 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate shot down a US fighter jet later today in northern Afghanistan, killing the pilot and co-pilot, according to Al-Emarah News.
The initial reports from the scene point out the F 16 Fighter Jet was shot down in Se Dokana area of Bagram district, Parwan province during a precise attack by Mujahideen that caused it to come down in several pieces later Saturday.
