Mujahideen bring down attack helicopter  in country’s north

 KUNDUZ, Feb. 23  – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate shot down an enemy attack helicopter Thursday in Dashti Archi district of Kunduz as two of the enemy helicopter  gunships were en route back to  Kunduz from Takhar  , Al-Emarah News said on Thursday.

The initial reports from the scene suggest the one of the helicopters was shot down in Dasht-e-Archi district of Kunduz province when two of the enemy helicopter gunships were flying back to Kunduz after an operation in Takhar province.

Mujahideen succeeding in taking down one of the attack helicopters while the dead and wounded were flown away by the other helicopter.

Mujahideen seized two of the DShK machine guns left behind by the enemy at the site.
