Mujahideen attacks leaves 4 dead in southeast

PAKTIA, Apr. 7 – Two policemen were killed when a landmine blast ripped into a group of police in Syed Karam district of southeastern Paktia province on Thursday.

Also Thursday, the convoy carrying the district police chief came under Mujahideen ambush in Jani Khail district of this province, causing the enemy heavy toll but it is not clear if the district police chief was killed or escaped unhurt.

In a report from neighboring Paktika province, a roadside bomb blast tore through a group of enemy soldiers in Barmal district of this province on Thursday, leaving two puppets dead.
