Mujahideen attacks leave 9 puppets dead

KUNAR, Sept. 10 – At least five puppets were killed when the vehicle carrying them was targeted by a remote-counted bomb blast in Nari district of Nari province on Saturday morning.

In another attack, a puppet was shot and killed in a sniper attack in Surkani district of the province on Friday.

Around predawn today, 3 puppets were killed and 5 others were wounded during Mujahideen operations on the enemy post in Surkani district of the province in which a number of the enemy posts were also dismantled.

Also Saturday, Mujahideen pounded an enemy base with heavy weapons in Ghazi Abad district of Kunar province but it is unclear if anyone suffered any casualty.
