NANGARHAR, Sep. 12 – Three policemen lost their lives and a further two suffered life-threatening wounds when the vehicle they were traveling in was struck by IEDs in Behsood district of eastern Nangarhar province early Tuesday.
In another report, Abdul Khaliq, the district governor of Hisarak was badly injured and two his guards were killed in Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar province on Tuesday.
According to a report from neighboring province of Laghman, 2 puppets were killed and three more including 2 Arbaki commanders were wounded during a violent fighting with Mujahideen on the outskirts of the Mehtarlam city, the capital of Laghman province on Tuesday. A tank was also destroyed in yesterday’s fighting in Mehtarlam city.
