Mujahideen attacks leave 3 dead, 5 hurt in country’s south

GHAZNI, Aug. 18 – At least 3 policemen were injured as a military vehicle hit a landmine blast in the provincial capital of Ghazni province on Friday.

Earlier, an officer was injured in a Mujahideen targeted attack elsewhere in Ghazni city.

Separately, Mujahideen carried out an attack on the enemy post in Ghazni city last but no losses of life and injuries have been determined yet.

In the province’s Shalgar district, 2 enemy soldiers were killed and 1 was injured as an explosion tore through a group of the enemy soldiers while on foot on Friday.

In the late afternoon hours of the day, a puppet was shot and killed in a sniper attack in the mentioned district.

Also Friday, a check post came under Mujahideen attack in Khwaja Omari district of this province but no losses life and injuries have yet been known.
