During a press conference in Kabul, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, revealed that the accomplishments of the Islamic Emirate in the private sector and the fight against drug cultivation, production, and smuggling were met with surprise by participants at the third Doha Summit.

Mr, Mujahid stated that during the trip the delegation of the Islamic Emirate held 24 meetings with different regional and countries beyond.

Highlighting the progress made, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid emphasized the importance of distinguishing between humanitarian matters that directly affect the lives of Afghans and political issues. He urged that these humanitarian concerns should not be exploited as a means of political pressure.

Furthermore, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid expressed the significance of the commitments made by numerous countries to collaborate with Afghanistan in strengthening the private sector and combating drugs. He stressed the responsibility of these nations to fulfill their obligations.

The spokesperson affirmed that during the Doha meeting, it became evident that the world has recognized and embraced Afghanistan’s advancements. Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid called for closer ties with Afghanistan, highlighting the country’s resilience and significant strides in various domains. He emphasized the need to differentiate commercial and political matters from political issues.

Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid further stated that Afghanistan maintains strong regional partnerships and is not isolated, rendering pressure tactics and sanctions ineffective. He urged the international community to focus on opening avenues for constructive engagement.
