KABUL, Sep. 28 – As many as 25 Afghan citizens who were detained in the prisons of the Republic of Iraq because they lacked the proper documentation were released and sent back home as a result of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Embassy in Baghdad’s efforts, says deputy spokeman of foreign ministry.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs believes it is its duty to defend and uphold the rights of its citizens, and it assures the country of its efforts to free every single national of the country in Iraq and throughout the world, and appreciates the efforts of the officials of its embassies.
