PANJSHIR, Jan. 30 – According to officials of the Panjshir Public Health Department, four mobile health teams have begun operating in the province.

Dr. Asadullah Najat, the provincial director of public health says, these teams have been developed by the OCCD organization for areas without access to medical services.

According to Dr. Najat, the goal of these teams is to lower the rate of maternal mortality and minimise child malnutrition in the rural communities of the districts.

He continued by saying that these teams would offer healthcare in the Shattal, Annaba, Dara, and Parian districts, including Bazarak, in the fields of mental health, child nutrition, child delivery, other treatments, and vaccination.
