NANGARHAR, Jan. 15 – A girl has been rescued by Minsitry of promotion of virtue and provention of vice for being sold against 250000 debts in Nangarhar province, said press office of the ministry in a statement.

Details say the said child is daughter of Javidullah, named Fawzia and resident of Achin distirict of Nanagarhar provnice.

A local Rahman Wali owed 220,000 to the child’s father in return, he took the child away from her father.
Offiicals of The ministry’s department of haring complaints after getting information of the case called both sides to Kabul on Saturday and the ministry paid the debt & rescued the child, providing clothes and other necessities for the child and here father was given some expenses for the house as well.

The ministry has ordered strict punishment for such cases and said both buyer and seller will be brought to court.
