During the National Labor Conference in Kabul, Mr. Mullah Abdul Manan Omari, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, emphasized the ministry’s dedication to generating employment opportunities. He highlighted the ongoing construction of several significant infrastructure projects across the country, which have already provided jobs for numerous citizens. The ministry, as an institution responsible for employment, aims to create optimal and standardized employment prospects.
Under the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, various community projects have been initiated through relevant sectors, with some already completed and others on the verge of implementation nationwide. These projects directly and indirectly benefit a large portion of the population. Furthermore, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has devised a comprehensive strategy to facilitate employment for individuals who have been forcibly displaced.
In collaboration with 15 government agencies, the Acting Minister of Labor and Social Affairs has developed a national employment policy, which has been presented to the esteemed Cabinet. This policy is expected to be highly effective and will generate numerous job opportunities across different sectors and regions.
