Ministry of Higher Education delegation engages with Malaysian Higher education officials

Mr. Naqibullah Ahmadi, the Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate to Malaysia, along with an official higher education delegation, met with key officials including Uzza bint Umar, Head of International Relations at the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia, Dato’ Azam, Director of Higher Education, and several other authorities.

During this meeting, various topics were addressed such as enhancing educational ties between the two nations, addressing the challenges faced by Afghan students in Malaysia, streamlining visa processes, organizing educational trips for Afghan students, and exploring different departments within the Ministry of Higher Education in Afghanistan.

Discussions also centered around capacity building initiatives and the establishment of short-term educational programs. Additionally, the delegation visited several prestigious universities in Malaysia to secure opportunities for Afghan scholars to pursue master’s and doctoral studies, as well as to formalize agreements.
