As per the Ministry of Public Works spokesperson, Mohammad Ashraf Haqshinas, Acting Minister Alhaji Mullah Muhammad Isa Sani has been inspecting all sections of the Kabul-Kandahar highway along with the planned mosque construction sites along the route.
During these visits, the Acting Minister, accompanied by field technical teams, strongly urged all contracting companies involved in the project to prioritize addressing the local community’s issues before the project’s completion. This directive aims to ensure that the concerns of both residents and drivers using the highway are effectively resolved.
In discussions with the contractor companies working on the highway, the Acting Minister stressed the importance of swiftly completing the repair and reconstruction of the road while taking into account the needs and challenges faced by the local populace and drivers.
