KABUL, Dec. 17 – Minister of Public Health, Dr. Qalandar Ebad, and his delegation paid a visit to the Grand Embassy in Kuala Lumpur during their official trip to Malaysia, says ministry of foreign affairs.

Upon arrival, the Minister of Public Health and his accompanying delegation received a warm welcome from Mr. Naqeebullah Ahmadi, the head of the embassy. Subsequently, a brief overview of Malaysia and the embassy’s actions, goals, as well as short-term and long-term plans were presented, with particular emphasis on prioritizing the development of the health sector and the provision of educational opportunities.

Dr. Qalandar Ebad expressed his gratitude to the embassy for the kind reception and conveyed his delight regarding the presence of his political representative in Malaysia.

He further stated that during his visit, he intends to hold meetings with high-ranking officials from Malaysia and international health institutions. Additionally, he seeks to leverage Malaysia’s expertise in the healthcare field, aiming to promote international cooperation in health, combat infectious diseases, and standardize healthcare services within the country.
