The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, held a meeting with the Charge d’Affaires of Qatar to Afghanistan at his office, said ministry in a statement.
The discussions during the meeting revolved around the provision of hospital equipment, Qatar’s plans to construct a 400-bed hospital in Kandahar province, and the enhancement of health personnel’s capacities.
Expressing gratitude for Qatar’s ongoing cooperation, the Minister highlighted the significance of bolstering the skills of healthcare workers and outfitting hospitals with necessary equipment to effectively address patient needs and deliver improved services. He underscored the essential role of Qatar’s collaboration in this endeavor.
Conversely, the Qatari Ambassador, acknowledging their sustained partnership, conveyed confidence in continued cooperation in these areas.
