The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mr. Mawlawo Noor Jalal Jalali, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Japan, Mr. Kuromiya Takayoshi, at the minister’s office.

 

During the discussion, the focus was on Japan’s aid in healthcare, particularly in areas such as drug addiction treatment, vaccination programs, infectious disease control, and fostering ongoing collaboration in the health sector between the two nations.

 

Mr. Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, the Minister of Public Health, underscored the essential nature of Japan’s health-related support and stressed the importance of continued cooperation from the country.

In response, the Japanese ambassador assured full cooperation and support in addiction treatment, vaccination initiatives, and infectious disease control, stating, “We are dedicated to assisting the Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan in these areas in the near future.”
