Robert Chatterton Dixon, the Charge d’Affaires of the British Embassy in Afghanistan, held discussions with the Minister of Public Health, said ministry of public health of the IEA.

The Ministry of Public Health reported that during this meeting, the focus was on supporting Afghanistan’s healthcare system, addressing drug addiction, collaborating on maternal and child health initiatives, and attracting international assistance for health-related endeavors.

The Minister of Public Health highlighted that a substantial number of individuals struggling with addiction have received treatment over the past two years, with ongoing efforts to assist more individuals.

Additionally, Mr. Dixon affirmed London’s commitment to collaborating with Afghanistan in the healthcare sector.
