KABUL, Jan. 30 – According to ministry of national defense a significant gathering held in Kabul last night, the Acting Minister of National Defense, Mawlawi Muhammad Yaqub “Mujahid,” hosted representatives and ambassadors from several countries.

 

Following the successful first meeting of the Afghanistan’s Regional Cooperation Initiative in Kabul, the special representatives and ambassadors from India, China, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan for Afghanistan were in attendance. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen friendly relations, promote mutual respect, and enhance economic cooperation between Afghanistan and these countries.

 

Furthermore, the Acting Minister of National Defense held separate discussions with the representatives of China, Iran, and Pakistan. The focus of these conversations was on ensuring the stability of the country and strengthening border security. The Islamic Emirate expressed its commitment to guarantee security and cooperate in the initiation and completion of projects. The Islamic Emirate also emphasized its readiness to provide security assistance and support for any other collaborative efforts.

 

This meeting signifies the ongoing efforts of Afghanistan’s leadership to strengthen diplomatic ties, foster regional cooperation, and ensure the stability and security of the country.
